Early College Academy is an amazing opportunity for students to earn both a high school diploma from District 6 and an Associate of Arts degree form Aims Community College. We are a unique high school with a very clear academic focus.
ECA serves a diverse student body that is economically and culturally similar to that of Greeley-Evans District 6. The school was opened for the 2015-2016 school year with students in 9th and 10th grades and graduated its first senior class in the Spring of 2018.
Can high school students really do college work?
Yes! Currently the Concurrent Enrollment program in District 6 has a 90% success rate. In Colorado, this same program has an 86% success rate. Students who are challenged in the classroom will rise to meet this challenge.

Jun 17 2024My favorite season isn’t Spring or Summer; it’s graduation season. I am filled with excitement and pride as I watch hundreds of our graduating seniors cross the stage. I love talking with soon-to-be graduates about their plans for the future, listening to their stories, tinged with a little fear and anxiety but filled with hope and anticipation. They are ready to start their lives on a new path, and I couldn’t be happier for them.
