Welcome to Fraternity, Sorority and Cooperative Life at Purdue University!

Purdue University's West Lafayette campus has been host to fraternities, sororities, and cooperatives. Today, Purdue boasts one of the nation's largest Fraternity, Sorority and Cooperative communities, with over 6,500 students holding membership in 90 organizations. About 20% of Purdue's undergraduates are members of a fraternity, sorority, or cooperative. The Fraternity, Sorority and Cooperative community (FSCL) focuses on scholarship, service, philanthropic giving, leadership development, and creating a sense of belonging. Several of Purdue's most distinguished graduates are members of fraternities, sororities, and cooperatives. Purdue University is home to 11 cooperative houses and more than 80 fraternities and sororities. The Interfraternity Council governs 41 men's fraternities at Purdue. The Multicultural Greek Council governs 10 multicultural fraternities and sororities. The National Pan-Hellenic Council governs 9 historically African-American fraternities and sororities at Purdue. The Panhellenic Association governs 20 women's fraternities and sororities. The 11 cooperative houses are governed by the Purdue Cooperative Council.
